Finished the Load Outs
Posted by: Ruel Knudson in Developer Blog, DPnP, Player Character CreatorI have Guitar Hero 5 playing a custom set list of 95 songs or so in party play mode. Its not unlike listening to a playlist on an MP3 or media player except from time to time if I am so inspired by the song playing I can play along. Its a good mix of Pop, Classic Rock, Punk, and of course the Blues. Why is this important? It isn’t. I am simply giving you a bit of insight into today’s mood. I am feeling good. I got music jamming, I am actively grooving to it, even singing along (be glad you can’t hear it), and I got a huge chunk of code done this weekend. Finally, after months, load outs are DONE! So, I am feeling good. Frampton is playing “Do You Feel Like I Do” and if that feeling is good, and accomplished, with a touch of victory, then yes.
So, what’s left? Today I start work on the whole hirelings/animal companion character sheets. These are the biggest ones after Load Outs because I still have to set up a section for outfitting them. Once that is done, I take my character sheet HTML and convert that to XHTML and there we go. After that, vehicles and computers and it is done.
That means that the core, a working and fully functional CRM and a fully functioning Character Generator are finished. If I hadn’t of set up the fact that I would release a GM Sheet and a Character Manager I would be ready to declare a release in about a week or two. However, I did proclaim my intention to do those things so a release is still a bit of an unknown. However, that light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter by the day. I can almost smell fresh air again.
Anyways, back to work.
